Support Coordinator-Community Based (New Jersey: Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer and Monmouth Counites)

The Columbus Organization is expanding it’s Support Coordination Services in the Great State of New Jersey. Interviews now being scheduled for Support Coordinator serving the counties of Middlesex, Somerset, Mercer and Monmouth.

Make a difference in the lives of many by assisting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities to access and coordinate needed supports and services in a community based setting. Must have own transportation and able to work flexible hours.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Gerontology, Special Education or Rehabilitation; other related fields will be considered.
  • Minimum of two years experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft word to include entering, updating, and maintaining Consumer Information System data.
