Support Coordinator-Community Based (Monmouth, Mercer, and Union Counties, New Jersey)

The Columbus Organization is expanding its team of Support Coordinators in the Great State of New Jersey. Immediate full time openings for community based Support Coordinators serving Monmouth, Mercer, and Union Counties. Interviews are now being scheduled.

Make a difference in the lives of many by assisting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to access and coordinate needed supports and services in a community setting. Must have own transportation and able to work flexible hours.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in the field of Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, Gerontology, Special Education or Rehabilitation.

· Minimum of one year experience in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities

· Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft word to include entering, updating, and maintaining Consumer Information System data.

· Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred but not required.
