The Quality Enhancement Coordinator (QEC) will coordinate specific review processes as part of the organization’s continuous improvement process. The QECs primary role is ensuring that care coordinators comply with service standards and quality key performance indicators.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for auditing the accuracy and timeliness of service delivery provided in accordance with contract deliverables. This would include audits of individual service plans (ISPs) completed by care coordination staff.
  • Will work with Supervisors and Director to ascertain whether service delivery is properly supported and documented for various regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for periodic review of department internal control procedures. Will also periodically review Team processes in order to identify and recommend process improvements that increase efficiency and/or accuracy of ISP submission.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate audit reports and files to support audit findings and take a lead role in working with Sr. Leadership to ensure compliance and regulations are being followed.
  • Work closely with the Community Navigator Supervisor{s), Senior(s) and State Director to implement a shared vision, advance projects and establish priorities within the State.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a case manager or related position in the field of developmental disabilities.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to provide effective training for Team personnel;
  • High level of initiative, self-direction and accountability for actions required;
  • Skill in promoting multidisciplinary collaboration; ability to act as a facilitator and change agent required;
  • Analytical ability to assist staff, as well as resolution of complex programmatic issues;
  • Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with fellow employees, outside agencies and state personnel;
