If you have “Georgia On Your Mind” then have we got an opportunity for you!  The Columbus Organization is expanding its team of Forensic Psychologists in the “Peachtree State” and invites you to be part of this exciting expansion.  New opportunity at 179 bed inpatient facility in beautiful and breathtaking Savannah, GA.

Under the supervision of the Forensic Director of Psychology, the forensic psychologist will be responsible for the completion of criminal forensic evaluations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participation on the recovery planning (treatment) team
  • Facilitation of group treatment
  • Conducts court-ordered pretrial forensic psychological evaluations to answer questions of competency to stand trial and/or criminal responsibility as a neutral friend of the court
  • Completes assessments on individuals admitted to a State Forensic Psychiatric
  • Conducts forensic risk assessments and other psychological
  • Conducts groups and psycho-educational

Job Requirements:

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology and/or Forensic Psychology
  • Active, valid GA licensure or eligible for GA licensure
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of forensic experience in a hospital setting
