I joined The Columbus Organization after spending 18 years with another large firm in a variety of Senior leadership capacities. What really attracted me to Columbus was the population that we serve and the size of the organization. I knew that we could collectively make a significant impact on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
The Columbus Organization was founded to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their pursuit of a meaningful life. We are able to provide supports to individuals with developmental disabilities and their family members across all three business lines. The key driver in our success is hiring individuals that are passionate and committed to creating success by leading and serving others.
I have always enjoyed serving others and felt the healthcare industry was a great place to do just that. I knew there were ways that I could contribute to another person’s life outside of being a hands-on caregiver and take a lot of pride in being able to improve the “experience” for others.
I take a lot of pride in supporting our stakeholders in their pursuit of accomplishing their personal and professional goals. There is nothing more exciting than being able to contribute to another team members success in achieving things we might not have thought were possible.
I like to think of myself as a servant leader and that we create success by leading and serving others.
Prior to joining Columbus, I worked with another large firm and served in several Senior Leadership capacities over various business lines to include, Healthcare staffing, Travel & Allied Staffing, Home Healthcare and IDD services.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Stephanie, and two children, William and Caroline. We are active in our community and enjoy just about any outdoor activity in addition to coaching my son’s travel baseball team.
