Full Time Bilingual Psychologist Opportunity (Ph.D or PsyD)
Los Angeles, CA

The Columbus Organization is expanding its team psychologists in Los Angeles, CA.     Immediate full time opening for Bilingual Psychologist  (PhD or PsyD) for community based outpatient setting.   Must be fluent in English-Spanish.

Job Responsibilities

  • A bilingual Spanish speaking psychologist to conduct between 6-8 evaluations per week. Most of the evaluations will be for Intake and EI with the purpose of ruling out the presence of a developmental disabilities
  • Expertise in evaluating individuals with developmental disabilities and differential diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD ) throughout the life span.
  • Knowledge of assessment procedures to include but not limited to the ADOS, ADI-R, all the Wechsler scales, and adaptive measures such as the Vineland and the ABAS
  • Evaluations may require more than one session and may include visits to schools, day care or another session at the center.
  • Participate in fair hearings for his/her cases to discuss diagnosis and findings
  • Participate in eligibility as needed.

Requirements:

  • Doctoral Degree in Psychology
  • California Licensed
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience with pediatric population
  • Experience working for mental health community agencies
  • Bilingual-Fluent in English and Spanish
